Quitting smoking isn’t easy. It takes time. And a plan. You don’t have to stop smoking in one day. Start with day one. Let the Great American Smokeout®, celebrated yearly on the third Thursday in November, be your day to start your journey toward a smoke-free life. This year, it’s November 19th. You’ll be joining thousands of people who smoke across the country in taking an important step toward a healthier life and reducing your cancer risk. Plus, the American Cancer Society can help you access the resources and support you need to quit at https://www.cancer.org/healthy/stay-away-from-tobacco/great-american-smokeout.html.

Another great support for quitting tobacco is right here in Georgia and it's the Georgia Tobacco Quit Line. YOU can be a Quitter by calling 1-877-270-STOP (1-877-270-7867 for English / 1-855-DEJELO-YA for Spanish / 1-877-777-6534 for Hearing Impaired). Learn more at bit.ly/QuitNowNorthGA
