Duties:  Under supervision of the District Women’s Health Coordinator, performs comprehensive assessment of health care needs of clients in the Family Planning Program based on information collected through history, observation, physical examination and analysis of diagnostic data; orders appropriate medications and provides treatment in accordance with Nurse Protocol; and accurately determines client eligibility for appropriate services.  Position involves travel to health department sites within the District.

Minimum Qualifications:  Current Georgia license to practice as a registered professional nurse AND one year of professional nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Public Health experience in area of Women’s Health.
