MedBank is Whitfield County's effort to secure prescription drugs from the patient-assistance program through the pharmaceutical companies. With 1 full-time employee, two part-time staff and a handful of volunteers, MedBank has served 980 patients since May 2003. MedBank is a service to over 93 physicians in Whitfield County.

How to get an appointment at MedBank?

Please call 281-2363 to obtain an application. Once you have completed and mailed your application to MedBank, a volunteer will call you to set up an appointment.
Medications are distributed every Thursday morning from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

What to bring with you

When you come in for an appointment at MedBank please bring proof of your current income. This could be a recent pay stub, bank statement, or other document that shows your current household income. This is to help us determine eligibility for the program.

Driver's license and Social Security Card are also needed for applications.

 

How are services paid for?

Although approved Medications are provided free from the pharmaceutical companies, we charge each client a $10.00 per month fee to cover processing and handling by staff.
