Whitfield County MedBank Services

MedBank is Whitfield County's effort to secure prescription drugs from the patient-assistance program through the pharmaceutical companies. MedBank has served over 2,800 patients since May 2003. MedBank has been a service to over 200 local physicians in Whitfield County and has given out close to $27 million dollars in medications.

How to get an appointment at MedBank?

Please call 706-281-2363 to obtain an application. Please complete your application and mail it in or you may bring it to MedBank.

What to bring with you

When you come in to MedBank please bring the following:

• Proof of your current income - this could be a recent pay stub, bank statement, or other document that shows your current household income.
• Your current Federal Tax Income forms
• Driver's license and Social Security Card are also needed for applications

This is to help us determine eligibility for the program.

How are services paid for?

Although approved Medications are provided free from the pharmaceutical companies, we charge each client a $15.00 per month fee to cover processing and handling by staff.
