Freedom From Smoking® is a program to help tobacco users break their addiction.
This eight-session program:

• Takes a step-by step approach to teaching smokers to quit;
• Covers stress management, weight control issues and social situations;
• Includes contact with quitters for a month after Quit Day;
• Is facilitated by certified Instructors who understand the issues of quitting;

Freedom From Smoking® is based on the premise that smoking is a learned habit.
Smokers teach themselves to smoke and practice the experience until it becomes an
“automatic” behavior. A process in which smokers (and spit tobacco users) consciously
“un-learn” the automatic behavior, substituting healthy new alternatives is used in this
program.
